This is a poem telling my now ex-friend that he should leave me alone and stay away from me because of his immaturaty and ignorrance. If you have a frined who doesn't know when enough is enough (or has at least comprehended the moral of The Cat in The Hat by Dr. Seuss), unfriend him/her and never talk to them or make eye contact again. Or at least until they've learned to grow up. If they persist on wanting to be your friend again before they mature, put a restraining order on them or call the police for involuntary harassment. That's what I would do, but it's really your call.
Sometimes our most recent lessons reach back the furthest.
I'm betting this is relateable - I'm hoping the message is heard by someone who needs to hear it
just a lil bit of knowledge out of the book
A message to the young and lost
Life lessons from personal experience
Past and present misconceptions
Leave us seeking eluded lessons
Impulsive thoughts
Impulsive actions
Twice the work
Learned infractions
Social conduct
Social passage
Basic knowledg...
Ours for the grasping.
I speak to you
Not in a foreign language
But in poetry.
I come to you
Not in the darkness
But in your enlightened state of being.
I offer to you
Some knowledge of life and self
If only you will receive
The messages.
I was taught to draw letters
To write words and then
To construct sentences.
I use these lessons to carry my thoughts
My feelings and my opinions of
What is happiness?
What is beauty?
What is love?
