In Flushing, Queens there is a charming China Town that has a sad underbelly of human trafficking and slavery. It is like a poet who has written volumes and has had his or her words taken from them on this very site.
This poem represents moments that I spent in contemplation. It is a birthday poem...One that I am conflicted about..one that I am not sure I should celebrate. I am sitting by a lake and I am observing the beautiful scenery but she is on my mind and my heart is heavy.

I have reposted this poem, in hopes of a few comments. If anyone is editing their book, they will know of what importance any input can be. I would thank anyone, that has an honest critique, thank you all; Rob
