Bully
Poems By: Natasha Head
Watching, listening
taking it all in.
You say the things we long to hear
trapping us with sacchrine and chemically induced
sweetness
intoxicated by your praise
but wait...
did one have the nerve
to disagree
with the way you think things should be?
And you
YOU
who claims to be love and light
places his virtual head
upon the chopping block
of your timeline
to belittle
to name-call
to take down
one who has
worked so hard
to simply find the courage to connect
Shame on you
For all you do
and who you pretend to be.

Poetic_Heart wrote 182 days ago (positive) 1really enjoyed this poem. there are very great images in it and also exploration of those images connotations. i think its one of those poems one goes back to and finds new meaning and really wonders if they have it correctly.0 pointsOhemmaWrites wrote 232 days ago (neutral) 0Strong poem!
