She's Innocently Evil
Poems By: Quinton Dooling

Waking in a cold sweat

Wonderin' if I'm dead yet,

I think you're innocently cruel.

And I wonder what you'd do,

If God really made a rule.

I think I got it figured out

I know what you're all about,

I'm really not that naive.

But I guess you can go and laugh,

Since I'm the one who got decieved.

I remember late nights

Solving all our small fights,

I never really came on top.

Abusing all my thoughts,

I guess it was time to stop.

I handled like an infant

Lost what it really meant,

Thought I had crafted hell.

Took longer than expected,

But in the end I wished you well.

I know I've always kept cover

But at the moment know I'm sober,

And It feels like I'm dead.

My lungs feel like a coal mine,

And anger consumes my head.

Although you killed my heart

You aren't entirely at fault,

You're innocently evil.

And I'm innocently a mess,

My love will never rest.
