We never know what to expect once begun
People monthly come for a poetic home run

Everyone knows we don't accept absurdities
Nor undertake expressions of superfluities
The Corner is about tragedies and comedies
Bringing audiences into wondrous fantasies
Knowing for sure that poems have remedies

Some reciters make a few become speechless
Listening brings many peace and youthfulness
Creating a world of wonder with awareness
Entrenched poets become an heir or heiress
As we are lured into our gifted artfulness

Until she launches it with all her gong ho
